Hello! I'm also ready to start this awesome challenge! I started to upload my before photos but I wasn't able to do it. I got the following message: "You have maxed out the number of photos for this album." What should I do now?

Have you created an album solely for the challenge calld 'Transformation Challenge'?

And how many photos do you have in there?

Hello all. I've got a long way to go and I'm ready to get started. Like a few others, I've had some problems with the photos but I was still able to upload them. The only problem is no matter what I do they show up as rotated to the side. If anyone has an idea what i'm doing wrong please let me know. Feel free to friend.

This might sound obvious but...did you rotate the photos BEFORE you uploaded them? haha :D

This should be fun, currently 4 weeks into a different more.. personal challenge already! I'm hoping to continue with squatting every day as well to get my squat numbers up! Squatting every day has been rough so far but not detrimental. Still excited for this and it should be a nice shock to my muscles trying new things!

Just curious, I wasn't able to upload photos until I registered as a platinum member, will I not be able to post progress photos as a gold member?

You can post photos as a gold member...what message do you get when you try to upload them?

Well! Hello everyone! Nice to meet you all, let's get pumped! :D

First i wanted to thank you Scott for what you are doing with this challenge, without you, i wouldn't have found that "something". In the past, i started to go to the gym but after a few weeks, lazyness started to show up (also, not having a goal). I felt into a depression state for 3 months. One day i was at work and i saw your video on youtube........ and..... well! :D I also get excited and pumped to work my ass off! (so much that i had to do some pull-ups in order to calm down myself :D

I felt that you transmited me that energy, that ..... i don't know how to explain it properly.... but... yeah! It made me want to move my ass and get shredded! :D

I hope that we all go as a team and get to know eachother! :D This is gonna be fun! :D

Hell yeah man! Love the enthusiasm!! Good luck in the challenge!!

Scott and/Group.

I am trying to understand what my Marco calculation should be however I get two different numbers when using 1) The method in Scott's Video and 2) the calculator on the screen.

My Data:

Weight 233

BodyFat = 26.4%

BMR = Resting = 1832, In Motion = 2840

Method 1 (Scott Video)=

Results:

Calorie Goal = 2203

Protein = 258g

Fat = 86g (.5 as the multiplier)

Carbs = 100g

Method 2 (Macro Calculator)

Results:

Calorie goal = 3038

Protine = 343g

Fat = 77g

Carbs= 243g

Not sure what I am doing wrong. Method 1 seems to me to be correct however, I just want to make sure that I am setting up my meal plan correctly.

Thanks,

Dempsey

Did you have the same goal in mind when calculating both answers?

If you want to add some size and muscle, I would say you actually want to go with the second method, because that will put you in a 200 calorie surplus on your workout days (2800-200 = 3000). That's a good starting point for lean gains - just a sligh deficit. Maybe actually lower the protein a bit though and focus more on your fats - maybe even bump them up to 100g?

Hope this helps!!

Hey Scott will there be any nutrition guide for this transformation?

There will be times where you get to see the types of meals Scott is using for his bulk - things like the #TrueGains line for example - but there won't be a specific nutrition guide, because everyone is going to need to eat different amounts of food for their body types etc.

But you will get an idea of what food you could be eating when you're chasing those lean gains ;)

Let us know if you want some help with your diet!

Scott what do i need to get on my supp-shelf?
BCAA?
Protein?
Creatine?

There are no absolutely necessary suplements. You want to focus on whole food first and foremost.

But Protein is a good one to have in case you ever need some extra protein, or for post workout shakes.

If you feel like BCAAs help you with recovery, then include them, and maybe some glutamine.

Creatine will be a good idea for bulking for sure.

Are these supplements you currently have? If so, that's good man.

Also remember that you can adjust your stack according to your budget - have you seen this?

Recently joined the forum and opted to go for the platinum membership to maximise the chances of me making a decent transformation.

I recently joined the gym around 8 weeks ago, invested in a personal trainer and have noticed slight changes taking place already. I don't feel like I'm benefiting from the sessions anymore as the trainer seems to adlib my workouts rather than being prepared. I'm hoping that this kind of approach will allow me to achieve my goals. Super excited to make a change and start 2016 healthy and fit.

I may need some help navigating my way to find the excersies etc so your help would be much appreciated

In terms of signing up for the contest, is me being a platinum member all that is required?

The workouts will be posted on YouTube, and in the @exclusive section here on MuscularStrength.

You will need a platinum membership to see the videos on this site. You can get your first month's membership free by using the promo code FREEFITNESS :)

But you don't NEED a platinum membership to join the challenge - it would be helpful though to see all of the content and give yourself the best chance ;)

Good luck man! And if you have any more questions, feel free to let us know!!

I was wondering if there's a date when the photo's need to be uploaded for the 12 week Challange?

I've been quite busy with family over the holidays and haven't had the chance to take them yet but I will be taking them tomorrow.

Comp starts on my birthday, so thanks for this wonderful gift Scott. ;)
