Hey all I am new to tge group but not to working out really. I am a former MMA student of 4 years had made a cut from 205 to 174 then lost it all when wige got pregnant. I am trying to find my way back to a clean 185lbs, current weight is about 225. I signed up for the contest and am wondering what exactly eill be taking place. Will there be a list of excercises to do ect?

Scott will be posting videos up for the program for us to do and follow. since you're a platinum member you will get all exclusive workouts and updates. He wil also be posting some to his youtube channel, so it really benifits to be platinum.

The goal is to lean bulk, but the end result should be an overall transformation of size and body fat. You should also try to stay active in the forums by helping people and posting pictures, as this will also be taken into consideration.

good luck :)

Did you have the same goal in mind when calculating both answers?

If you want to add some size and muscle, I would say you actually want to go with the second method, because that will put you in a 200 calorie surplus on your workout days (2800-200 = 3000). That's a good starting point for lean gains - just a sligh deficit. Maybe actually lower the protein a bit though and focus more on your fats - maybe even bump them up to 100g?

Hope this helps!!

I'm also confused between the Macro calculation calculator and video.

If I understand correctly, in the video, Scott explains that for bulking, you should add 250-500 to the average BMR, not In Motion BMR. This would put @Umrdemp at a 700 cal surplus!, not 200.

Basically, the Macro Calculation calculator set at Goal: "Maintain" gives the equivalent calorie goal of Scott's video at the highest bulking surplus (Average BMR +500).

Set at Lean Gains or Hard Gains the calculator is much higher.

What's the best way to do this please?

Just uploaded my pictures.

Was slightly nervous as I know that I'm going to look feeble in comparison to most but you've got to start somewhere I guess. Plus I'm essentially a blank canvas so I'm excited to see some visual changes..

Good Luck Everyone!

I have been training coming up on 6 years and have made some great gainz. I've done a lot of trial and error on myself as well as learned from others and through research online. I've come along way in strength and size since I've started. I will continue to learn and make myself better each day. I think you have done it mostly right.. My understanding is we need to "present day's newspaper with the date clearly showing or challenge hashtag (#ShredChallenge)."

Is it just me or are others getting masses of errors when trying to access the transformation challenge photo album?
