Ok I am new to the gym and learned a great lesson today on deadlift, I feel stupid for not doing this. After I completed my last heavy lift, I was struggling removing the two outside 45 plates. My hero came to the rescue and said put a 10lb weight on the floor and roll the inside plate to the outside of the 10 lb weight. Thus the 2 outside plates are up in the air and can be removed with little effort. Aagain, showing I am a green horn in the gym and I was a little embarrassed. So now I provide you with this so that you too can look like a pro. :)

haha. dont worry man we have all been there!

Hey @joehurricane

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I thought about Skulpt, but it's not something I want to buy right now. I think the calipers are more accurate than most body fat measuers. But just looked at it again and it's $149.. Wasn't there a coupon code? What is it after the coupon code?

Yes, not BMI, Body fat%.

Hey Rich yeah I hear you, personally what I found works for me is when ever I reach for one of my vices I picture and tell myself all the thigns I'll loose if I take that vice, like the oppurtunity to be the best version of me, money, time with loved ones etc. So basically I give myself a choice of take that vice now and never reach my full potential or leave it and still have a shot at getting to my best version. I know it's like a life or death scenario but I found putting that pressure and urgency works personally so hopefully that might help you :)

Thanks man! Your 100% right with it being a lift or death scenario because it is! I'm gonna go on the gum like I did before. I did stop for over 3 months and this is the scary thing, even tho after that long it still jumped up and bit me at a weak point! A old mate of mine on site at work said to me " You havn't quit smoking.... your just not smoking today" ( he's an ex smoker ) I think that's so true! and you can take that for everything you want to stop! Getting on brighter notes! Hows your workouts going?

Yes lol i'm using gum to stop me from reaching for those desserts. Workout are good, definitely loving this program. First program I've noticed me increase in strength even if it's by a little :) ). Still working on my crunches cause i have an issue where my back takes over and burns out but working on a work-around that lol. Hope your workout is going good, from your vids and post dude you're doing awesome.

A PR in deadlift today of 315 for 3 reps. I tried 315 last week and could not get it off the ground. Feeling tired and muscled through the rest of the workout.

Good job!! Thats a great PR! How are your other lifts going?

Question for Scott, or for anyone else who may already know. With the next set of workouts, will we still be doing the bench press? I only ask because I currently max out at 140. Yeah, I know most of you can do probably at least twice that much, please don't laugh. Anyway, I was hoping to hit 150 lbs soon. This week I'm trying for 145, but if I know that we'll be switching from the bench to another exercise, then I'll try for 150 this week.

I'm new to deadlifting and have the same problem as you (although I'm not able to put 25 pound plates on there yet), and that helps a lot.

I'm no smoker, but I am a junkfood addict, so I kinda understand. I can still be tempted at certain points to indulge when I shouldn't. Sometimes the people you used to do it with try to get you to do it again. I've had friends offer me foods I know I shouldn't eat and I'm like "No thanks." Then they say "Are you sure, it's really good." And I kinda have that moment from Gandalf in Lord of the Rings.

Thats a great tip, I usually turn the outer plates to where the rubber cover has broken off which gives me a few millimeters clearance. I may just use your tip in future. Cheers Umrdemp. And good job on your new PR.

Nothing to see here, just lifting eating and sleeping:)

Guys , what do you think about BSN TRUE MASS 1200 supplement weightgainer? For who is this for? I am skinny dude. I have 76kg on 194cm. Is this product for anyone or pros only? I dont feel I am eating enough of real food so would it help?

P.S. I had issues with my right arm and now is fine. I rubbed some Comfrey ointment on my hand and I think it helped.
