I haven't been convinced of anything other than the good old incline chest press. DB are my favorite, I used to be so weak on my db incline press and now am lifting pretty good weight and have filled out in my upper chest a lot. I do enjoy and for the love of me can't remember what it's called but it's relatively new to me. You place a bench bb on the ground with one end stabalized and weight on the end towards you and with one arm at a time grabbing the end of the bb with weight on it and push up in an incline press. Opposite foot from the hand you're using forward and the other back and you use your core to stabalize you.

I have been training coming up on 6 years and have made some great gainz. I've done a lot of trial and error on myself as well as learned from others and through research online. I've come along way in strength and size since I've started. I will continue to learn and make myself better each day. Awesome! Never heard of. I will start doing this one. It looks easier on your shoulders, which I'm having some issues right now.

Mine is the standing overhead barbell press, provided that you use a full range of motion. If you go all the way down, the upper chest recruitment is unique. The incline press would probably be more effective but it just feels better when you press something overhead. :D

Flyes. Wide-arc, flat back no forward lean, machine-based flyes. Most effective at developing strength? Not really, but best deep stretch, pump and overall enjoyment? For sure.

In this order, I'd say

1. Incline Plate Press (except with DBs instead)

2. Incline Barbell Press

3. Incline DB Press

4. High-Low Cable Flys
