Hey Scott!

I have been working out since Jan with the main goal of weight loss.  Being about 15lbs from my goal weight I wanted to start building strength and muscle.  I am 36 6'4" weighing in at 215, and at 16% bf.  I am consuming roughly 2300 calories a day (250g P, 219g C, 69g F).  I coming back from shoulder tear due to a bone spur in my left shoulder.  I have made great progress from not being able to lift 5lbs to currently doing shoulder press at 25lbs for 3 sets of 10.

I have incorporated assisted pullups into my routine and was wondering what areas should I concentrate on building strength to eventually do unassisted pullups?  Thanks for the help and great motivating videos!

Hey Rhutchin,

Sorry to be a bother, but you could REPOST this in the "Injury & Prevention" section.  I will answer your post as soon as you do.  Also, this way other members will be able to see it and jump in as well.

Hi Scott! Thanks for the heads up on all the cool stuff coming for the site / avatar  etc ! When I was refering to running pants I was actually thinking of real running pants  or real shorts for gym attire  (although running pants on the avatar would be cool too) just a thought for additions to your store down the line. BTW all the rest of the stuff arrived . including the last two items just last night. Photos coming as soon as I can make some time. I wore teh SHF black with with print t-shirt out on the town tonite, to go see Thor 2. Repping all over Denver ! SHF invasion! :) keep me posted as new site developments come along! you have done and are doing a great job so far ! :)

haha thanks man!  and that is a definitely a great idea.  We have a lot of ideas for the AVATAR.  It will blow up BIG in 2014 for sure!

Can't wait to see the pics of you repping the SHF GEAR!!!!  Thor was AWESOME right?  You should do a post about it in the General Discussion area.  I will add my two cents!

Also, just added all FOUR 30 DAY DVD series routines I did with Lionsgate to the ROUTINES section.  You can click on just the LIONSGATE BEFIT filter and they will all pop up.  check it out!

Hello everyone, hello Scott,

Just read the FAQ's.

One quick note about them:

Question 13 and 27 seem to be the same question.

Only the answer is slightly different, in 27 there is one paragraph more.

Thanks for the informative vids and the nice community!

The site looks really nice, going to take a closer look

when I have more time. University takes most of my time,

so I wont post too much, but will always keep on training.

#HTH

Hello Scott & Everybody

Greetings from Malaysia.

I am facing bit of trouble and I am sure I am right place to seek help.

I have resumed my weight training (with some cardio at the end/while workout) after 6 months. What i see now is, my left side (shoulder, bicep, tricep, lat and trap) is much more developing than my right side.

Is this something I should worry ?

But on the other hand, when i do back workout, i feel more burn at right side intead of left.

Thank you All.

Regards,

Welcome to the forums brotha!

This is the freqently asked questions forum.  You should be posting threads in the muscle gain section.

Can you please post a new thread in the MUSCLE GAIN section and write out your current weekly routine including exercises, sets and reps as well as your daily macros?

That is what we need to help you.  We can't help you if we don't know what you are doing.

Hey scott

I've been going to gym for just over a year, I'm 15 and weigh 70kg.. and I've noticed my chest being uneven in the centre on my right pec... It's like my pec hasn't filled out, as there's more upper chest muscle on the uneven one than there is on the normal one... It looks like an indent of missing muscle? . I've started doing isolation workouts like dumbbell bench etc..
What can I do to better improve?

thanks :)

Hey Ryan!

Sometimes it just takes time for everything to fill in brotha.  Try experimenting with TEMPO using my ZEUS CHEST routine.

For the middle of the chest, try ending your workout with this exercise!

In the future post new threads in the TRAINING section.  That way everyone will see it :)  #HTH

Hey man!

Macros refers to MACRONUTRIENTS (Protein, Carbs, and Fat)

IF you need help with explosiveness and speed try some of my plyo routines!  I will post one below.  #HTH

Hey Zeal,

You can do abs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

I would do them 2 - 3 times a week.

Also, from now on post questions about your routine in the TRAINING forum section as a new thread. You will get lots more help that way!
