You fortunately have age on your side.  When your are older - say 40+ - it is harder for the skin to "rebound" from being stretched from carrying excess weight.  Plus, the longer you were overweight the harder for the rebound.  You are doing all the right things - diet and exercise.  Just keep at it.  It takes time and eventually your skin will tighten up as you gain muscle and lose fat.  Real extreme skin looseness usually needs some surgical intervention but that is a decision for you and your doctor.   I think the natural route is best.

This is on a similar vein as what women have to endure after pregnancy.  The ones who exercise and eat well after giving birth retain their pre-pregnancy shape better and faster than the women who do nothing.

Lost the same amount (and not extremely quickly either) It has gotten better, but really surgery might be on the cards. It's worse when in the uh say plank position which is not good for confidence.

I am 49 and i have lost 88lbs. I have always used a vit. c serum that I made myself with camu camu powder (loaded with vit c) mixed with water & vegetable glycerine. I make just enough to last for about a week. It's best fresh. i've not had any problems with my skin bouncing back. You can also use L absorbic acid (vit c powder) Drinking lots of water helps too I think.

Great tip Bonnie.  It sucks to have to go through a surgery after working so hard to lose so much weight.  I hope this method helps out Lee!  Right on!

Generally over time with proper training and nutritional habits your skin should tighten up, but if not I really like Bonnies suggestion as well.

Hi everybody,

This is my first post and I gotta say it's a pleasure to be among you Nation. I used to weigh 265 around four years ago and I lost 65 lbs in a very short period of time. Fortunately I didn't get loose skin, well that's not true, I did but very little and it's disappearing as I keep working out. Now what I'm gonna say here sounds somewhat irrational, but it worked for me: I would go to sauna regularly, after staying in sauna for periods of 20 minutes, I would take a quick shower and jump into the pool. I don't want to make any comments as why this works because I have no idea why, however, I assume it could be because of sudden changes in the temperature of the skin.

Awesome feed back guys it lessens over time but in plank position looks like something off star wars lolz I'll keep this up naturally for a few years build some muscle follow the aesthetic lifestyle then think about surgery in a few years if the problem keeps up.

Farzan,

That is exactly what happened.  Going from hot to cold fairly rapidly causes your skin to contract.  I would also add that at 21 you have age on your side.  Your skin is still very elastic and adaptable.  For all intense and purposes, you are still growing so your skin should rebound very well.  Once you get past 40, age is against you and your skin is not as elastic and adaptable and using techniques like what Bonnie described are your best alternatives to surgery.  Unfortunatley, the older you are and how much weight you had and how long you carried it usually may require some surgical intervention to tighten things up.
