So, breakfast the most important meal is the hardest for me tbh nation.
it's easy for me to miss it with a trip into London n back, n I find this puts on body fat, how do you guys (apart from will power) maintain a protien rich breakfast to start your day and maintain ur macros?
Im intrested in how you maintain a routine in diet esp when you get up before dawn.

Hey man,
I totally understand how easy it is to skip breakfast espcially when it comes to travelling early to work. Especially to London. I bet you have to leave early because of traffic :/
It just so happens that Scott just realeased this video below this week on how to make a protein rich breakfast haha
These pancakes don't actually take a long time to make. Obviously to save time, you don't have to garnish it with strawberries. Just heat the pan, make the mix, cook the pancakes and you're done :)
I can assure you that this recipe will not take long and you will for sure be getting enough protein with 55g per serving!
Another idea for high protein breakfasts are eggs. Easiest thing to do is scramble them and there is 6g of protein per 1 large egg. Just watch your cholesterol intake with eggs. The yolk contains all the micronutrients / minerals and so you could cut these back by using 1 whole egg and a couple of egg whites. Egg whites are almost 100% protein with the exception of small amounts of fat and I mean small!
Long story short, dont skip breakfast. Even if you take a protein shake with some oats, it's 10 times better than avoiding it altogether which can lead to hunger induced snacking later on in the day.
Peace out brotha,
Hope you find a breakfast you can enjoy and have time for
Regards
Declan

I start the day with a shake, followed by orange juice or grapefruit and muesli, granary bread toast and coffee.
Although I know where your coming from with a grab and go breakfast. I was in Munich in December and had a couple of early starts! it was easy to grab a pretzl and coffee at the station.

Hey Matt,
I know how you feel, I had to commute across London most mornings when I was at university and this meant getting up very early. In situations like that I would always cook my breakfast the night before then just re-heat it in the morning. I would always cook lean mince beef with brocolli then as I was commuting across London I would eat a handful of cashew nuts.

Well, 2 bananas and 2 scoops of protein are easy enough to "make" and fast enough to eat. They will also contribute to your daily macros.
As Daniel said you could just prepare something from the previous night. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches are easy to make and very calorie dense. I would do something like that if I were you, and I actually already do!

I get up before the crack of dawn at times either for work or school. Sometimes I just want to skip but I don't because I will premake my food the night before hand. Whether it be a sanwich or just cutting up stuff for my omlette so it saves me time in the morning. I'm not a shake person so I don't drink shakes in the morning. I just like to eat my food!

For quite a long time, I've been enjoying the Meats n Nuts breakfast. It's what you think it is. Meat and nuts. Currently, I'm going with horse meat (me luvs it) burgers. You can cook up a few of them and just reheat them in the morning. Add in a nice hand-full of almonds, for example, and there you have it. I also add an apple because I workout in the morning. You can also add in some greens, I usually go with broccoli.
