Most people already know Kai Greene will not be competing in mr O this year. There are no reasons that are 100% confirmed but there are many theories. First of which states that the people of Kai wanted free space at the Mr O to promote themselves and a possible supplement line. Obviously the IFBB did not want to give them free space because number 1 this shit goes for about 10 000 dollars and number 2 everyone else already payed so there was no available space. So the people of Kai stuck it out and did not want Kai to compete unless they got it for free. The result then became that the company drew the line and said fuck it, then he ain't in. But if everything is true it is not even Kai's fault that he can not compete. Pluss it seems really weird to claim something for free that has always costed money and is equal to everyone. Thus, Kai needs to dump his "people".

However, other sources suggest that it is Kai and only Kai that has fault in not being in Mr O this year by simply not signing the contract for reasons only known to himself. I do not see this being true because of his own video where he is CLEARLY upset about not being able to compete for reasons that he can not explain.

I will not watch nor care about Mr O this year if Kai is not in it, why ? Because there is no show without him, now It is just going to be a shitty show where there is one King (Phil Heath) and the rest are just there to make the king look good. Kai was the only person who actually could stand side by side with Phil and not look like Phil would win for sure.

Do any of you know anything else ? Thoughts on the subject ?

Yeah it sucks he isn't competing! Not only for kai himself but also for the other competitors, a second or first place win will have less meaning in a lot of people eyes. It just sucks for the compition. But I think the compition is still going to be though, especially in the 2-6 placing, I think rhoden, wolf, ramy and dexter jackson are much closer to eachother than phil, kai and the rest. So the I think the biggest battle will still happen.

Maybe this is a good thing. People can pay more attention to men's physique. Kinda like what Arnold said, these guys don't look right anymore. Should be about the v taper.

Personally, I have not been interested in the Mr Olympia contest after Lee Haney was champ. The guys today are out of proportion, they all have Palumboism in their guts and look pregnant because of all the growth hormone and insulin they take, and they have lost true symmetry.

I miss the days when the Olympia was about symmetry, mass, and presentation. Now the judges just want to see mass freaks and it looks ridiculous. All the props to them for their hard training and conditioning but they still lack aesthetics :-(

I agree, the tortoise shell belly doesnt look great! Physique shows are where its at, you can appreciate the effort they put in, but not be freaked out by their body, unlike some of the freakbeasts haha

I won't deny anyone their hard work but I agree these new bodys in bodybuilding are getting to be too much. They need to bring back the bodys of old school body building.

I have been training coming up on 6 years and have made some great gainz. I've done a lot of trial and error on myself as well as learned from others and through research online. I've come along way in strength and size since I've started. I will continue to learn and make myself better each day. Next year there will be a "classic physique" division, I think that's going to be cool!

I am sad Kai will not be competing. He is such an inspirational person who has been a great ambassador for the World of Bodybuilding, Health and fitness. His work ethic is second to none. I hope he will return next year and avenge this great injustice.

Yeah exactly, I love that there is a weight limit to each length. I would be even better if there were different weight classes per each level. For my length(5'10) a weight limit of 192 lbs is used, which is cool, but not attainable at 4% bf for a natural.
