Hello guys, lately I am trying to find ways to include oats in my meal plan so the oatmeal is not tasteless. Any ideas?

If I am eating yogurt I usually mix em together or just a little cinnamon and honey will help.

I have been training coming up on 6 years and have made some great gainz. I've done a lot of trial and error on myself as well as learned from others and through research online. I've come along way in strength and size since I've started. I will continue to learn and make myself better each day. Oatmeal tastes great. You can put, cinnamon, vanilla extract, almond milk, or fruits.

Evagelos,

I put fresh blueberries and pomegranate in mine. I also mix in 3 tablespoons of flax meal for the fiber and Omega 3 content. It does not add any flavor but boosts the nutrient value.

Mix some peanut butter in with it! Delicious! :D

Also, add som fruit to the top of it and you're good to go. You can always blend it up with some other ingredients too if you want to mix the flavours more.

I love adding 1/4-cup of dry oats to my daily scrambled eggs/egg whites. Gives it a great texture.

I sometimes like to put sliced peaches in oatmeal. Cinnamon and milk are great as well.

Thus far, I have no credentials.

Hello guys, lately I am trying to find ways to include oats in my meal plan so the oatmeal is not tasteless. Any ideas?

I have two ways of eating it. I usually eat it right out of the box with milk, which is very boring indeed but I do not mind the taste since I eat it everyday it is more of a habit and I do not think to much about it.

Or I boil it with a little bit of water and a good amount of milk, when it is done I add some type of fruit and cinnamon, butter and a little sugar ALSO if you like, I have some type of meat on there as well. I live in Norway so I would not expect you to know about "Sognemorr" but you can google it and try to find something similar !

Hello guys, lately I am trying to find ways to include oats in my meal plan so the oatmeal is not tasteless. Any ideas?

I've become an absolute fool for overnight oats. Add in some yogurt and some milk (I use almond milk) with your oats, whatever flavors you like (flavored yogurt, whey protein powder, cinnamon), stir it up, put it in a jar, a lid on it and put it in the fridge overnight. Top it with fruit if you wish and eat it. Heat it up if you want but you don't need to.

William,

I was kidding :-)

On a serious note, what is the Norwegian government's stance on farmed salmon? As you know, it is a huge industry in Norway. Singapore gets all its salmon from Norway. I used to eat it everyday but have since switched to eating tuna steaks - the mercury is not as bad as claimed as tuna has a highly available form of selenium in its blood which neutralizes mercury's impact and is passed to us when we eat tuna. Selenium is a powerful anti-oxidant for human health.

I have read so much conflicting reports on farmed salmon and even the Norwegian government at one point was warning about it. I view Norway as a more strict country when it comes to food safety and guidelines than other countries that produce farmed salmon like Chile. Supposedly, Norway is at the forefront of farmed salmon technology as well as clealiness and feed regulations. What is your view since you live there?

Look at the ingredients list. If there are all kinds of weird and wonderful names there...then yes, it probably is heavily processed. Otherwise, just from looking at it, it seems to be just good old fashioned oats.

Ingredients lists reveal all!

Haha xD Not easy understanding humor through text always...

Well. we have many political parties with different stances, I do not follow that exact topic to much. As long as it is done correctly there should be no problem. And yes Norway is extremely strict with food, random drop ins at resturants may close it down (has happend time and time again where I live), random drop ins at farms to see how animals are treated and slaughtered may also lead to a full close down, all food are checked before they can enter the store, if there is found anything in a product that is not listed all types of that product may be pulled back from all stores and so on.

My view is simple, If it is done correctly and the fish or any other animal that is brought up to be eaten are treated corretly and fed properly it is all good.
