8 Years ago I went from 276 to 224lbs, added a lot of lean muscle and kept it that way for 8 months without trying hard as was happy, and had a physical job. Injury and a deteriorating marriage lead to self loathing and apathy, ballooning me to 299lbs. Was up to 299 at heaviest; after separation (now divorced) I started to eat healthier, cut out crap (fast food, liquid candy bars ie:pop, chips etc) and started to work out 6 days a week. I started with stairclimber and elliptical (alternating days) and weight lifting. Lost 50lbs in first 3 months, increased lean muscle and lost fat, increased stamina and dropped from a size 58 jeans to a 44. Was down to 226, but family health crisis, Christmas and EXCUSES, back to 242 but still have the lean muscle. Time to finish what I started and get the fat off to a healthy level. No misconceptions, the weight didn't go on in a day and it's not coming off in a day. Not looking for a quick fix but setting realistic goals and view this program as a way to quick start me back to where I was when working out 6 days a week and eating healthier. (I actually love working out)
