What are compound lifts and why are they useful?

Compound lifts are central to body building.

Compound movements require you to use many muscles to lift weight, rather than just one. They also require you to use more than one joint.

Compound movements are the exercises which will ultimately help you build the most mass. Therefore compound lifts should always be included in your workout.

Always do compound movements which attack the UPPER and LOWER body.
