What are the best strength exercises for the upper body?
Compound movements are the best for overall strength.
Focus on exercises like the Bench Press, Shoulder Press, Dips and Bent-Over Row.
These are core exercises which will work more than just one muscle in the upper body. They should form the base of your overall strength development.
You can include other strength exercises for each muscle group as well. Try to start your workout off with compound movements before moving into more singular group exercises.
