What are the best strength exercises for the lower body?
Again aim for compound movements.
Squats will target almost all aspects of your legs, so should be a staple in your lower body workout.
Heavy Leg Presses can be a good strength training exercises for legs too.
To focus more solely on hamstrings, do heavy stiff-legged deadlifts.
To focus more solely on glutes, do heavy glute bridges.
Deadlifts can also be seen as a lower body exercises, but actually are for overall body development. However, doing them in conjunction with legs is an option.
