I totally love skull crushers. Made some real quick gains by introducing them to my triceps workout HTH.
I have seen a few guys at the gym doing skull crushers...are you using a barbell or ez bar?

do you have a video link to this one brotha?
No, but if you know how to do kickbacks you should be fine using it with a cable.

Got kickbacks sorted, will give it ago when I hit triceps next.
I was just reading back through this post and I remembered an exercise I did ages ago whereby I attached the cable to an EZ bar, put some plates on and did skullcrushers. This way there is a A LOT of constant tension throughout the full ROM and my triceps were killing me!

That sounds like a real killer man!!!!!
thanks for that one...
I love using the cable row machine for tricep kickbacks. Instead of using a dumbell a cable puts constant tension on your tricep
I agree Will, I always do my tricep kick backs with the cables for the constant tension

I like to do the same thing but I do them bent over. I just like the feeling of the constant tension and by bending over it pulls the weights far enough to where the don't slam down and take away the tension.
Here is the first video I ever filmed of me lifting and getting 200lbs. the form isn't perfect but it helped me reach my strength goals of being able to do 230lbs dips which i can do now :)

Thanks for that Joey...can get my form sorted from your video now. It knocked out a couple of sets of overheads on the cable machine before and could feel it in my triceps after!!!
I'm glad you liked it but my form is off in this video. Notice how on the last sets my elbows start to flare out? If you can keep your elbows more in that'll keep more tension on your triceps.
I'll have to do an updated video, I've gotten a lot better since I made that one but at least you get the idea

Yeah it confirmed I was doing it the right way...I was concerned I wasn't performing them good. Having watched your vid, I was :)
gunna knock those out with dips and throw in Scott's killer triceps routine!!!
My favorites are Dips, diamond push ups, and reverse grip pull downs. the reverse grip pull down really shapes that horse shoe for me!
