hey :)

i'm facing a problem with my lower skin...it's not tight...it's jelly after loosing weight from 93 kg to 77 kg (26% of fat to 10%)

my height is 176 cm i'm training 5 times per week...doing abs 3-4 times per week focusing on lower abs...

the question is how to make my skin (on lower abs) tight...are there special exercises to do that?

thx..

You simply have to lower your bodyfat %, so doing more cardio and tweeking your diet should do the trick.

First, I admire those with nerve to take pics of themselves without shirts. I am so not there.I took me years to put pics on facebook and I took my first selfie two weeks ago :).

Next, for myself, Ihave no great hopes of getting downbelow 10% BF to see my abs. I'm probably down around 12-15% (need to get measured again - I have access to bio-impedance for free). I think age and genetics stand in my way - that and too much loose skin that would need surgery to make it more aesthetic.

First off, looking good man!

Like @William_Steinset said, cardio and diet!

What are your macros? How much HIIT cardio are you currently doing? 15-20 minutes 2-4 times a week is a good guideline.

However, if you are also looking for lower abs exercises..check this out!

@autopilot,

There is one thing that was not mentioned yet (i think): The skin takes more time to adapt. Once you lost a signifficant amount of weight and/or bodyfat your skin will obviously be still stretched from the bigger area it had to cover before. Most studies have shown it can take up to 1 year (depending on the tissue also up to 2 years) until the skin has fully shrunken and tighten up to your "new" shape.

If your tissue is very weak, or you went from a real oversize to being normal again (meaning really having had a 'lot' skin) a surgery might be in order because the skin can only shrink back so and so much. Especially also because being really oversized causes rips and tears in the skin tissue and it just is very destroyed in it's elasticity.

But no worries, the latter is obviously not the case with you.

If you keep loosing weight or bodyfat you might experience more loose skin for a little longer, until your body has adjusted.

A good diet, exercises, and some cardio will help.

Exercises for the lower abs, don't shrink the skin, but they make the area tighter and the muscle bigger, so it will fill out a bit of that 'empty' skin area.

Cadio will help to shrink what is often considered or thought to be loose skin, and is in fact still just a tiny fat layer on this stubborn spot, that many have to fight with :)

On top of that, even if prolly not considered a very 'manly' solution, you can help to speed up things a lot by massaging that skin area, and making sure to put some good lotion on it. The higher blood flow due to the massaging helps the tissue to tighten up, and the lotion will make sure it's getting its elasticity back.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I fear the excess skin left from dropping from over 150kg to just over 80kg is nigh insurmountable.

Didn't mean to imply that you were showing off. Indeed, I was applauding your courage to go somewhere I can't go at present. I apologize if it came off as sounding like something else. I have the same issue to a greater degree and I'm older.

If you're looking to lose a little bit more fat, try reducing your carbs a bit. Something more around 200g or less might be a good idea for losing more fat.

Then you can bump your protein and fat up to make up for lost calories.

Maybe try these...

Protein = 220g (880 Calores)

Carbs = 180g (720 Calories)

Fat = 80g (720 Calories)

Total Calories = 2320

Also, have you thought about Intermittent Fasting? It can be good for losing a little bit of stubborn fat.
