Hello everyone ! I have now finished my 1 month of the weights and I am more eager to go to the gym than I have ever been. First of all, what have I been doing this last month ? I have been focusing on swimming and I had three goals that I wanted to reach by the end of the four weeks. The three goals were: Being able to swim 500 meters (in one set, without any pauses), swim 100 meters in 2:30 or less and lastly being able to fetch an object on a 5 meter depth. I am almost 100% sure that many of you would crush me when it comes to swimming as it has been a weak point for a long time. However after reaching all my three goals I would at least consider myself to be somewhat of a good swimmer.

This last month has reignited the fire and desire I have for lifting. I am more motivated and more excited than I have ever been to get in there and pump some iron !

Tommorow I am going back to bodybuilding and I will start with a 3 day split that will last about 4-6 weeks. Although the split might seem basic it is not for begginers. All the three days start out with one of the three big lifts. Monday- deadlift, Wednsday- bench, Friday- squat. I will be using 5 sets on each untill my muscles have readapted to all the exercises. From there I will up the sets from 5 to 10. Maximizing volumue to force the muscles to grow.

The reason I created these two threads on an entire month off training is because I want you all to experience how amazing it feels. It gives you the ability to switch off the hardcore weightlifting button that is on 24/7. It allows you to relax and focus on other aspects in life. It allows you to fully recover from the workouts so that you can come back twice as strong.

To summarize all of this I have to say that this month as been awesome for me. I have beaten my fear of jumping in the pool and not being able to swim longer than 50 meters and I have reached all my three goals in swimming. In addition to that, I feel like my upcoming lifting sessions will be completely out of this world. Lastly, I want to thank everyone that actually read all of this and I wish you all luck on whatever it is that you are trying to achive or overcome !

Have a good luck and easy coming back to lifting! :)

Last June I had 2 weeks on vacation in Ibiza, totally off from gym or any other activities- besides partying, drinking and lying on the beach...

It was an amazing of course, however I remeber the first two weeks when I came back to gym, it was tuff :)

I was concentrating in 3 FBW a week, and cardio+abs in the other days.

After that period I've started my normal routines again and I felt much more stronger than before the vacation.

Hopefully you gonna feel the same later.

Let us know further on my friend!
