Any chance you could post a clear photo up? I would like to see if I can see a scoliosis and the severity of it.

If you could get a photo of you stood just normally from the side and from the back that would be great.

yeah that would defintiely help.

Also, you shouldn't avoid exercises.. if anything.. just make sure your form is 100% correct. Many of the back exercises you would do if done properly will help to strengthen the spine errectors which will help keep your back straight.

Send that pic soon!

Yeah I can see a mild scoliosis but nothing too severe. I would honestly say do all the exercises you want but just make sure you try and execute them with proper form. With a scoliosis it may predispose you back pain but I often put them down to faulty movement patterns which is mainly caused by weakness. In your case I would suggest you make sure you keep your glutes strengthened and your spine and pelvis mobile. Here are some great glute exercises:

Daniel,

Where do you see it? In his lower back or up near his shoulder blades? I am thinking lower back.

There is definitely some scoliosis and it really shows at the shoulder blades. They are uneven. X-rays would be helpful but it probably originates at the lower back. I wouldnt really avoid exercises. Maybe I would avoid machines. Exercises like the pullups and the corrective deadlift should fix you in 6-12 months. If you are not following 101% proper form though, they will get you messed up.

Yeah the scoliosis is more prominent at the thoracic spine especially at the level of the bottom of the scapula. A scoliosis will cover all the spine but can deviate more at certain spinal levels.
