Gains are coming , im getting a bit closer to being old so they slow down a little . But I ain’t slowing down .

SCOTT!!!

Today was brutally excellent!

Squats were even deeper, more weight more reps and more sets! I lowered the guards more after this pic!

Getting my grandpa gains OH YEAH.

Should have seen my last rep! I had to get primal to finish it

Nice @Herculesinwyo! The leg gains are coming along nicely I see 😁 Them ATG squats are paying off! Having to go primal on your last rep is a good thing - it means you pushed yourself and left nothing in the tank.. love that!

I took a good long walk today to help flow some blood to the legs also it makes me dang hungry the next day. So I'm feed them gains with lots of real whole foods

Well this week improvements continue, slower than i like but i have to remember i have never squatted like this before.

Hips still get a bit of aches from this, but they will adapt.

 

Adapt, overcome and the muscles will have to grow to accommodate haha.

 

Here we go food and nap time. 😀

Thanks scott. I'm seeing changes. At this rate I'm gonna have to buy some Bahbell apparel Jean's. Right now I have some levi pants I had to up the waist size so i can get a pair that accommodates a squatters butt and bigger legs.

CAPITAINS LOG ! I forget what week this is haha.

 

Well ATG squats. Have gone well! This week i added only 20 pounds (DARN) but i did accomplish 10 more reps total than last week. Hip flexors still lagging a bit but its getting better every session. I guess today was better than i say because im not feeling all that great today and still set new records on this adventure.

 

Carry on Men!

Adding 20lbs in one week is something you can be pretty proud of @Herculesinwyo! That is awesome! It's all about that progressive overload man.. more weight, more sets, more reps, it all counts towards MORE GAINS! 💪

Tomorrow may 16 will be leg day again, im feeling good and no aches or pains, ready to Go sleep and be ready for a GREAT SESSION.

Well today was GREAT! Squats felt really good and the support muscles have adapted so i felt stable and solid. Got another full working set in and few extra reps.

 

I’m thinking next week i may try heavy with lower reps, as today i did 10, 8, 8, 6 I think it was.

Anyway progress is continuing and I realize i need to do more stretching.

 

Gains are gains no matter how small HAHA.

This week , ugh!!! Nothing felt right! Hip ache and just not good. Well at 47 years old i cut the squats session and will reboot. Read the indications and call it off when it feels wrong.

I will be ready next time
