this may sound off key and out of context but by changing from chicken to turkey for a short amount of time such as 3 motnhs might make you drop a couple pounds in say water weight, especially if you're buying the chicken cheapy or from "unreliable" sources, sometimes they like to pump them full of water or extra estrogen, this will cause you to gain water weight etc
just a suggestion, i love chicken too, infact i spent 6 months where the only 2 meats i would have was chicken and any fish i could get a hold of, but i noticed i was gaining water weight, due to buying cheap frozen chicken from sainsburies asda iceland, all the usual places, so if you are going to buy chicken make sure its quality not quantity and dont be afraid of red meats when trying to lose weight just log it into your macros when you do and take into acount the quality of the meat, generally i find the more fat veins running through the lower the protein content will be in the meat, so lets say 100g of steak contains 25g of protein... depending on how many fat veins are in the meat could let you know what life that cow had before it was chopped up, a cow standing around never moving is unhealthy and will have less protein, and more fat veins, people like to say meat is meat but its not, go for clear cuts of meal, if you see chicken with fat floating on the sides or you see fat veins in chicken i urge you to avoid that chicken or if you have to just disect it and cut out the veins and eat more than you normally would to replenish what you think you're getting, subway, markets, these places will cut corners in some areas, such as their apple pie... going to be loaded with simple carbs and sugars, something you dont want after eating that mash potatoe you could end up over loading the muscles with energy resulting in increased size of fat cells :P good luck, if i have gone wrong or missed anything someone please correct it im rather tired after leg day yesterday.
