Just out of curious do any of you orders Boston Market? What your recipe? I always order same...

1/2 white only Chicken

Mash Potato (no gravy)

Corn

Cornbread (come with meal but never ate)
Apple Pie (staff at Boston Market like me because I'm darn nice guy so I got it free if even I say no)

I got recipe from my father. YUMMY! I'm pretty sure good enough because there's chicken. Chicken is my favorite food YUM

What your recipe that You always eat when going Boston Market? Just curious because I might would have try your recipe :)

Earl,

Boston Market is an OK place to eat at. Stay with the roasted white meat and don't eat the skin or use gravy. The mashed potatoes are OK if you eat a small portion. Better to eat a selection of the veggies they have. Stay away from the corn bread, apple pie, and mac and cheese. Boston Market tends to have less processed food and their chicken is awesome.

Stay away from Subway. Their food is heavily processed and full of sugars, fats, and cancer causing sodium nitrates. They are one of the biggest "healthy" fast food scams going. There bread is lousy. It is full of sugar/corn syrup as is all their heavily processed meats. If you must eat Subway, do the salads with roast chicken breast. Stay away from everything else regardless of what Muscle & Fitness and Jarod say. Jarod may have lost weight by eating only Subway but he still has high body fat. He lost water weight and lean muscle.

this may sound off key and out of context but by changing from chicken to turkey for a short amount of time such as 3 motnhs might make you drop a couple pounds in say water weight, especially if you're buying the chicken cheapy or from "unreliable" sources, sometimes they like to pump them full of water or extra estrogen, this will cause you to gain water weight etc

just a suggestion, i love chicken too, infact i spent 6 months where the only 2 meats i would have was chicken and any fish i could get a hold of, but i noticed i was gaining water weight, due to buying cheap frozen chicken from sainsburies asda iceland, all the usual places, so if you are going to buy chicken make sure its quality not quantity and dont be afraid of red meats when trying to lose weight just log it into your macros when you do and take into acount the quality of the meat, generally i find the more fat veins running through the lower the protein content will be in the meat, so lets say 100g of steak contains 25g of protein... depending on how many fat veins are in the meat could let you know what life that cow had before it was chopped up, a cow standing around never moving is unhealthy and will have less protein, and more fat veins, people like to say meat is meat but its not, go for clear cuts of meal, if you see chicken with fat floating on the sides or you see fat veins in chicken i urge you to avoid that chicken or if you have to just disect it and cut out the veins and eat more than you normally would to replenish what you think you're getting, subway, markets, these places will cut corners in some areas, such as their apple pie... going to be loaded with simple carbs and sugars, something you dont want after eating that mash potatoe you could end up over loading the muscles with energy resulting in increased size of fat cells :P good luck, if i have gone wrong or missed anything someone please correct it im rather tired after leg day yesterday.

You're right Jake. The best meat and chicken to eat are free-range, grain fed, and natural. They are free of hormones and antibiotics and have the right Omega 3 and 6 fat profiles. Unfortunately, it is either hard to find this type of meat or it is more expensive. The best answer is some sort of diversity. I get my protein from eggs, chicken, and fish. I occassionally have some red meat.

sadly its not as easy as not going to the markets and subway this type of meat is in every supermarket, as john said diversity is key, mix it up, but your best bet is most likely turkey, specialty sites can get expensive unless you buy in bulk and know how to freeze your meat so that it doesnt get damage in anyway, good luck to you
