Will stretching stop me from getting injured?

By Scott Herman in Injuries · Published

It can do, but it is not guaranteed.

By stretching the muscle after you have being working out, it lengthens it after being contracted, and increases your range of flexibility.

If you then had an incident where the muscle was stretched out beyond normal, it would be somewhat used to it.

By stretching it out BEFORE a workout with DYNAMIC stretches, you can also prevent injuries by loosening the muscle and getting it warm, and potentially increasing your range of motion.
