Will box jumps help with my squats?

Yes, box jumps will increase your leg power as well as your jumping ability.

Box jumps will be most beneficial for being able to get the weight back up from the Ass to Grass squat position.

Stretching and correct form are also key for performing a MAX SQUAT.
