What is my CNS?

By Scott Herman in Strength / Power Training · Published

CNS stands for Central Nervous System.

It is made up of two main organs: The brain and spinal cord. The point of your CNS is to receive and send information to the body.

There are ventricles throughout the CNS, filled with cerebrospinal fluid. This helps circulate the brain's nutrients.

Neurons are also part of the CNS. Neurons are designed to help send signals around the body, including to the muscles (Motor Neurons).

Taking good care of your CNS is crucial, and you need to give it plenty of REST.
