Should I focus on heavy weight or proper form? Will heavy lifting increase my muscle mass?

By Scott Herman in Muscle Gain · Published

Focus on proper form to gain muscle.

Performing exercises without proper form can lead to injuries and will not activate the muscle as much as possible. Always use full range of motion to stimulate as much growth as possible.

Heavy weights will increase your STRENGTH, not the size of your muscles. If necessary, use a light weight and perform more reps.

The VOLUME of a workout makes muscles grow.
