If I suffer an injury to only one side of my body, should I continue to work the side that is still OK?

It is not advised, as it could cause MUSCLE IMBALANCES.

You will likely lose some strength on your injured side due to not training it. Once you are able to lift again, if you have continued training your good side, it will be stronger than the other.

Instead, wait until your injury heals before training that body part on either side of your body again. As you begin training again, use weights that your previously injured side can handle.
