Can women bulk just the same as men?

By Scott Herman in Fitness for Women · Published

If you plan on bulking, you should be aware that the caloric needs for women are smaller than for men. Pay attention to this fact when organising your MEAL PLAN.

Generally, men and women should aim for a CLEAN BULK or LEAN GAINS. For females, massive bulking can create problems, as fat cells never disappear, they only are 'emptied'. In general, females are genetically more prone to having a harder time reducing fat.

Most women need roughly between 100-200 calories less than their male counterparts. Judge for yourself through trial and error whether that includes you.
