Hi guys,

Im an ectomorph at 179cm and 69KG atm. Im gaining fat. Does this mean im eating too much? Or isnt that always the reason?

Im eating like 3000-3500 calories a day, not counting macro's.. just aiming for 130 grams of protein and as much carbs as I can get..

 

Should I eat like 200 calories less every day to stop the fat gainnss?

Hi Denzel,

 

do you do any sport? If not, you eat too much, yes.

Calculate your daily needs so you can see where you are. Over the thumb, I would say to cut 500 calories.

If you do any sport, you'll have to provide more data ;)

I workout 5 times a week, ill cut down a few hundred calories and see the result. Thanks man!

that many calories and only 130 is protein?!

 

Not good! You weight 151 lbs.. I would be eating 180-200 grams of protein minimum.

 

Sounds like too much carbs too.. 500 calorie cut would be a good place to start.

I agree with Scott.You will need to get adequate Protein.

If your going to cut back do it with your starchy carbs.

Ok thanks guys!! Will be aiming for 200 protein, 300 carbs, 100 fats! = 2900 calories! Thnx!
