I recently saw The Wolf on Wall Street with Linardo Dicaprio. I have to say he really did a great job with this movie. It's pretty intense and oddly enough everything in it is completly believeable. It's based on a true story about a Broker on Wall Street making millions off of penny stocks and the crazyness that goes on with the money and drug addictions. I highly recomend it.

A fun fact I heard the other day was that when Jordan Belfort (Dicaprios character) was in jail, his cell mate was Tommy Chong from the Cheech and Chong movies. Well, while they spent their time in jail, Jordan would tell Chong about all his wild stories about what he did on Wall Street. Chong was so amazed by the stories that he really encouraged Jordan that he should write a book, which he landed up doing, and then became a best seller and now a movie :).

Awesome fun fact :-) It does beg the question of American society though: what message are we sending? Do a crime, do time, write a book, get paid? We tend to "glorify" things like gang life, corporate crime, piracy, drugs/partying, serial killers, etc by making movies about them. Many times (not always) the person or persons who perpetrated the crimes/activities receive monetary compensation either from a book, movie rights, etc. I know movies are meant to entertain and educate but sometimes I think Hollywood only cares about the money and not the subject.

John,
Sometimes Hollywood only cares about the money....? lol
I think that is an understatement... That is ALLLLLL they care about!! haha
I actually just watched an old movie with Julia Roberts and Billy Crystal called "America's Sweethearts". It's about 2 actors, husband and wife, who break up before the debut of their next big movie.
Billy Crystal is the publicist and him and Seth Greene take advantage of every opportunity to promote their movie at the expense of the actors. It's hilarious, but true!

You and Erica would really enjoy it if your a Leo fan! Make it a date night. It's a good watch for sure. Totally diffrent side of him then the Titanic side. This guy has crazy range. As for Hollywood only caring about money ...well yeah that's the name of the game. They don't give a care about anything else.

This movie is by far BADASS! Didn't exspect it to be like it was but it sure is a movie worth owning.
I have been training coming up on 6 years and have made some great gainz. I've done a lot of trial and error on myself as well as learned from others and through research online. I've come along way in strength and size since I've started. I will continue to learn and make myself better each day. What an awesome and amazing movie this was and Leonardo really deserved Oscar for this performance but unfortunately as always he was deprived of it. The fact that it was a true story made movie much more interesting.
