Hi, today i have started the 5 day split program. I really like it, but ive read and heard scott say that ppl might just be better since you can hit the muscle groups twice a week. What would be best for me?

I could also go twice a day with the split so 10x a week but not sure if thats al that healthy and if it stays fun.

What do you recommend?

@MikeLammers97 Hey Mike!

I think the best thing to do is try both and see which one fits best for you. Personally I enjoy a 5 day bodybuilding split a lot more. It's what I grew up training with and I've always had the best results and most enjoyment from that split.

But, as a general rule of thumb, it can be beneficial to train muscle groups twice per week, as they generally fully recover 48 hours after training. So you can benefit from take 2 - 3 days between training the same muscle group again, rather than leaving it for an entire week! You just have to make srue you adjust the volume accordingly, like I have done in the PPL program! https://muscularstrength.com/program/Push-Pull-Legs
