Hey man!

Well, no site or calculator can calculate your EXACT BMR. You should experiment. Personally, I really trust Scott's calculator because it has helped me a lot in the past. It cannot be 100% precise though because every body is different and you cant just calculate the bmr from some numbers like age and activity level. Each person's metabolism will vary, mainly because of differences in hormonal levels.

What I would do, if I were you : I would take that 2130 and would consider it my BMR. That means that If I eat 2130 calories every day, I will maintain my current weight. So, I would start eating 2130 calories every day for 2-4 weeks and weigh myself every day, using a scale. If my weight remains the same then 2130 is my BMR. Then, I want to add muscle mass so I would increase that to 2300 or 2500 and see what happens.
If you eat 2130 calories and your weight is decreasing that means your BMR is higher and vice versa. You should be able to experiment with yourself and find your exact BMR in 2-8 weeks.

Hope that helps. #HTH

Spot on Kostas,

Sumana, some websites don't calculate your activity level. Also, depending on what activity level you choose will change the calculation.

Like Kostas said, it is an estimate.

I will be releasing a meal plan video on Saturday (tomorrow) to show you how to use these numbers to build a meal plan. BE sure to check it out. In the meantime... what is your current daily macro split? (protein, carbs, fat)
