Hey @pexecho.
It doesn't look bad though, your abs and obliques look great man! What kind of oblique training are you doing right now?
Are you doing things like standing dumbbell oblique crunches? If you aren't, start doing that, and always start with your smaller side, and use a weight that is tough to get 10-12 reps out of it. Then go to the other side, and match it.
You can use the same concept with a cable woodchopper.
hi @Scott_Herman thanks for reply
i use different oblique excerisice twise a weak one day - standing oblique press down ----or-- cable woodchopper ---or--dumbbell side bend----
but in normal crunch or cable crunch i feel the right oblique is more active , when doing the excersice !!!!!
about your advice with standing DB oblique cruches , should i put my hand back of my head ? and what if the right one oblique will be stonger at 12 reps should i change the weight ? or continue the right oblique with same weight as left that i reached failure at 12 rep s!!
Good choices for your training! That will mean that you can do one side at a time to work on that imbalance.
To work on your mind-muscle connection and help feel your left oblique working more, take your right hand and place it on your obliques when you are doing something like the standing dumbbell oblique crunch.
And you should keep the SAME WEIGHT. So ALWAYS start with your weak side, and if you fail at 12 reps, move to the right side. BUT, even if you can get 15 reps with the right side, ONLY do 12 reps. That will help you balance things out again 😊
