Just finished my 8 weeks of consistent training and wondering how good my results are.

So I just finished my first 8 weeks of consistent training(not so consistent diet) and checked my results. In the 8 weeks I gained 4lbs of pure muscle and lost 1% body fat. Here is how much I gained in each muscle group.

Forearm: +1/4 inch

Shoulders: +1/2 inch

Arms: +1/4 inch

Chest: +1/2 inch

Waist: -1/2 inch

Hips: -1/4 inch

Thighs: +3/4 inch

Calves: +1/8 inch

Neck: +3/8 inch

This was my first ever consistent training program that I completed, it was a program I made to set a good foundation for myself . After a week of rest to ensure 100% recovery I will make and start a new program that will focus more on upper body and build off the foundation I have set, hopefully I can be more consistent with my eating habits this time. I also updated my stats so you can go check them out.

That is awesome to hear @_daniil__2000_!! Great progress over 8 weeks man! Gaining muscle and losing fat means you must have been doing things right too, and that is the joys of getting those newbie gains.

Make sure you are eating heaps at your age to grow too! You are pretty lean already so even if you did gain a little more fat it's not going to be the end of the world, plus you will gain some fat while bulking! Keep up the great work man, can't wait to see the results from your next program - have you thought about trying one of the programs on the site?

I have thought of trying some of your programs but after watching 100 or more of your YouTube videos I gained enough understanding to set up my own program. The thing I've heard you say at least 50 times in the videos I have watched is "listen to your body" and "it will not be the same for everyone" this has taught me that no matter how much fitness information is out there in the end the only person that really knows what my body needs and what it can handle is me. So basically you kind of gave me the understanding of how to set up a proper program meaning I am technically using your knowledge as a foundation for my program, that's why I'd give you 37% credit for my program. ;-)

Well it is mainly because I am homeschooled and have a lot of time on my hands and since I'm the "watch and learn" kind of person simply watching your YouTube videos I can absorb information. The greatest thing is that I can absorb information pretty fast so I take advantage of the YouTube playback speed feature and manage to watch a lot more videos in a shorter period of time. Watching your videos gives me a involuntary testing agent in my brain, for example I watch a video on certain tips on an exercise, in the video you describe the sort of stimulus I should feel and if I feel said stimulus than I continue to apply the tip, but if not than I involuntarily stop applying the tip. My consistency I get from my mom, she had a wish to lose weight and improve her overall diet and she successfully did it and continues to do it, it is to a point where it is shocking my aunt's, I guess I just genetically inherited that. But all this success and all these amazing capabilities I have God to thank for, I pray every day asking for blessing and he gives, like 2 or 3 days after my repentance my brother offered to add me to his gym. Sorry if I sound too religious but truly I owe everything to God.

Here are some before and after pictures, there is no flexing whatsoever in any of these photos. Don't mind my face in the oldest photo, Summer in California making me sweat like heck, plus automatic beauty face feature on my tablet don't really mix well. The first comparison pictures are before and after my 8 weeks of training. The second picture is overall gains since I started trying to gain muscle.

You've made so many awesome changes already, love seeing this!! And you're only just getting started right 😉 That's great you have your Mom's consistency! Consistency is key when it comes to fitness and reaching your goals, in and out of the gym, so it's an awesome trait to have! Nothing wrong with being religious, and I hope my videos continue to help you man!! 💪
