I'm 22 and very slender, 6'2 between 165-170 pounds. I have exercise induced asthma that comes on when I do intense sets where I am pushing myself to do the final reps. My muscles can handle it and my breathing isn't very strained during the exercise but then a few minutes AFTER a hard set an asthma attack will sometimes come on or I'll start feeling the symptoms that I get right before them and I'll have to completely stop for up to a half hour. The symptoms are often accompanied by light headedness, nausea, and extreme fatigue. It is extremely frustrating and I feel like it's really holding me back in making gains. If I keep pushing myself will this eventually lessen or is this just something I'm going to have to live with and slow down when symptoms occur?? This is something I've been struggling with for a while so any advice helps.
Ps just for the record I do take medication for it everyday and I use an inhaler before exercise and when needed.
