Hey guys. I'm just wondering if you should be doing static stretching in your legs before deadlifting to loosen up the muscles so you can be more flexible during the exercise?
I've heard that you shouldn't be doing static stretches before your workout and instead be doing them after. If this is the case, what is the best way to loosen up specifically the hamstrings before your deadlifts?
My hamstrings are quite tight myself and I'm finding it difficult to perform deadlifts because of it. I've been doing static stretches every night to improve my flexibility but I'd still like to learn the best way to loosen up just before a deadlift.
Cheers!
