One of the best tips I can give to anyone is to take a walk everyday. It changes the entire day, if you are not in a great mood, walking outside and getting fresh air and moving around helps like nothing else. I have made it a habit to take a walk every day and it feels just as good every time ! Not only does it get you in a better mood, but it helps with your overall condition, after all it is a light form of cardio !

gotta agree 100% with this! I walk 2 miles every day to get to my gym rather than driving for a few reasons!
I can warm myself up by getting a speed walk on

I get myself pumped up with my favourite music

its easy cardio without you even noticing!

it lets you clear your mind and see people on the way!

but mostly....its free haha

the small things make a difference! Just walking to and from the gym is a 4 mile walk daily for me!

Me too. It is 1 mile each way to and from the gym. Walking to, I do a moderate pace to warm up my core temp and get me ready for my workout. Walking home, I do wind sprints for some HIIT cardio after my intense HIRT workouts.

Two thumbs up for this suggestion. I take my dog for a very brisk 30-40 minute walk every day. It's one of my favorite parts of the day. It's great for active recovery and stress management.

I used to listen to podcasts while walking, but now I become much more grounded and present in the moment, paying close attention to my surroundings while experiencing a great sense of gratitude.

Ah yes, I love to walk my dog... I LOVE IT !! I am at college at the moment though so I do not live at home anymore, but of course at every home visit i make sure to walk him for at least 1-2 hours a day to catch up lost time !

Also, I like to walk with no earplugs, because then I am able to sense my surroundings, just like yourself.
