hey nation,

recently I've been struggling to hit my macros and in general I've never found myself a big eater but I just had the though of milk. One serving of the milk I get is 3.5 fat, 9 protein and 13 carb. Should I have a few glasses of this to fill my macros ? Or I milk a bad idea.

thanks,

trav

Yes, drink some glasses of Milk. It is a good way to get some extra calories. And if you do not care to much about the fats you can drink a glass with every meal. I used to do that one year, drank about 6-8 glasses a Day and sometimes Even with chocolate powder. But that depends on your goal of course. The year I did that I gained 20 pounds and I cared little of if it was fat or Muscle because I weighed very little.

Yes it's a good source of protein.

When I started lifting, I didn't have money for whey protein. I drank milk all the time. It helped me get in calories.

Also, it has some vitamins

Milk is a good source of nutrients and protein, sure, but the quality is what you should be more concerned about. I alwasy say, go raw or at least organic or don't bother.

Trav,

Milk is unless you are lactose intolerant in which case it will cause a lot of digestive issues inhibiting full protein absorption. Eggs are still the gold standard of all proteins. Milk comes in second along with meat and fish. Make sure to drink whole or reduced fat milk NOT skim milk.

milk is good option for protien fat and some carbs the most of supplement product is dairy product the milk contain amino acid and it will help u with macros

but try to find raw milk because the proccesed milk is shit they only fill it with sugur and fat and if it was skimmed that's even worst

the processed milk mean no healthy enzymes or bectaria if u can't find raw milk go for full fat milk
