Hey guys,

I'm keen to start increasing my ab workouts in weight and volume - going to be doing Scott's 'Ultimate core workout' from "be a 10 in 2010".

My gym, however, doesn't have an adjustable pulley system for the wootchoppers (meaning that the pulley is always at the bottom, i cannot bring it to waist height).

I was wondering if there was an alternative exercise or if i could adjust the exercise to make it work (like Scott does with the face pull on his shoulders/traps routine i.e. taking a knee to simulate the required angle).

Thanks in advance guys.

Tom

You can use the Full Contact Twist exercise using olympic bar with weight on top. Youtube has bunch of videos showing how to perform the exercise. Scott may have that video.

Hey Tom!

You can definitely still do woodchoppers on an angle. Just twist from low to high, keeping the same form as you would for a normal woodchopper. Check out Scott's demonstration in this video!
