How's it going Nation!
So I've never been good at jump rope. I've always blamed my huge size 15 feet but then I know that was just an excuse to not exercise. Well that's all changing now! I bought myself a jump rope and I'm teaching myself how to do it. To get better at it, I forced myself to do sit ups/Russian Twists every time I messed up and it worked! After 7 rounds of going back and forth with the rope and situps I got to a point where my core was on fire! I knew that if I didn't do the jump rope right I was gonna have to get down and put my stomach through some more torture. So at the last round I did, I was able to jump for a whole minute! I'm so pumped about it! Today I made some major progress and it was my first time!
I've been doing some work for Scott where I've been reviewing a lot of his video catalog and I've decided that after my normal routine I'm going to start a circuilt I built from utilizing Scotts circuits. I want to do the jump rope and then every time I fail, I'll go right into doing Bent Over Dumbbell Rows, Judo Push Ups, Bicycle Kicks, and maybe Alternating Single Leg Supermans just to piss off my legs lol.
What do you guys think? Do you got any advice on jumping rope? I'll let you guys know how the routine goes!
