Firstly the whey protein you are using is just there to help you reach your protein goal for the day. I personally have a scoop of protein in my post workout shake immediately after my workout. Do I need to take it immediately after? No, but I feel better having a post workout shake. If at night you notice you still need 20g of protein to reach your daily protein goal then have a scoop of protein with water. You can have whey protein whenever you like. You can take your protein shake with milk but just remember milk has a calorific value you so need to factor how much milk you have with your protein into your daily requirements. Does this all make sense?

Hey Seb...looks like you take it with 200ml of water or milk. I take mine with water. I have one soon as I have got changed after the gym. Helps me with recovery after a hard session.

Tip: A good gauge of protein powder quality is how easily it mixes. The top blends take literally about two shakes of your shaker bottle and they're ready to go. If you're sitting there shaking for about five minutes and still chewing your shake afterwards maybe try some more water but you're likely looking at a cheaper protein quality.
Hope that helps!

I take 1 scoop of whey protein 1 hour before workout and 1 scoop after workout.... before going to bed.. I usually mix my 1 scoop casein with apple in the blender . As what they say, you can take it whenever you want, just make sure that you'll complete your protein daily.
