I grew up eating chips and junk food, watching tv, and playing video games. Needless to say, I became quite overweight and weighed around 130 lbs in the 3rd grade! As I got older I had friends that talked me into playing soccer as a defender. I fell in love with it and that was that. I slowly started losing weight and by the time my senior year of high school rolled around I was the team captain of our team! I took weightlifting in high school but didn't really get into fitness until college where I began participating in Triathlons, Challenge Races, and so on. I didn't really see any muscle tone until I finished a full round of P90X. Since then it has just been watching my diet and working on improving little by little day by day. It's a life long journey!
