I'm 24 years old and for the past 8 years I have been promising myself a 6 pack for my birthday. Each year it rolls around and I make steps towards it but never fully commit. I graduated from university last year and now work about 50-60 hours a week and decided I no longer have excuses. This is my year to get healthy. I want to learn how to be healthy now so that in ten or twenty years I'm not chronically crash dieting or waning after the size I am today. I enjoy lifting and running and I started working out with a trainer who helped me off my plateau. now I want the support of the community to keep me moving. In July when I joined SHF I listed myself as 170 lbs the heaviest I have ever been, I am currently about 152 lbs. The number means nothing to me, I would like to look at a 6 pack and be able to run smarter when training for races. Currently I am changing my meal plan, and need a little help in that department so if anyone has suggestions on how to get more protein, I would love to hear about it.
