My name is Daniel I am 28 years old and I have had an interesting life. I have face off with death a dozen times and come out to Victorious but unfortunately it has not left me unscaved. I have been in multiple car accidents, almost eaten by a mountain lion, had my wrist sliced open by a glass door, cracked my skull falling down concrete steps, and ran over during a four wheeling race, after all that life started getting rough. I developed a medical condition called Crohn's disease in which I went from 270 lb down to 118 lb within a couple of months. I lost over 50% of my muscle mass and got to the point I could not support myself or even lift a milk jug. I had partial organ failure and septicemia. I recovered and fought back gaining back a lot of what I had lost. Unfortunately that included more fat than muscle I believe. I went through a simular yet less intense cycle 2 or 3 times before my body decided it had a few extra parts. I lost my colon to Crohn's roughly 4 years ago. Since then I have gained back most of my previous strength and am back up to 205 lb. I have a body fat percentage currently of roughly 20%. But death wasn't done with me then either and I had a stroke early this year (2018). I have lost a lot of tactile feeling on my right side and feel weakend in my right leg especially. The doctors have encouraged me to eat better and get in better shape to help reduce my chances of another stroke and also to help with the issues on my right side due to the stroke. Luckily it did not affect any major muscle function or mental ability. The best we can tell it only has affected superficial nerves and tactile feeling. That's my old story. It's time to start a new one.
