Ok, so my challenge was to re-work this recipe to make it lower in calories and carbs, but still high in protein.

I confess I'm "lazy" in the kitchen, so I wanted to make this recipe have as few steps and ingredients as possible. #DontJudgeMe #WantFoodNow

Nutritional Facts

Serving Size: 1 serving

  • Calories: 319

  • Protein: 28 grams

  • Carbs: 43 grams

  • Fat: 4.7 grams

Cooking Instructions


Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 scoop BSN Syntha-6 Cinnamon Bun Protein Powder

  • 1/2 cup egg whites

  • Pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg

  • 1/2 of a Gala apple diced into small cubes

Toppings:

  • 2 TBSP Walden Farms Sugar Free Pancake Syrup (You can substitute with unsweetened apple sauce if you prefer)

  • The remaining 1/2 of the diced Gala apple

  • Pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg

NOTE: You can place the topping into a bowl and "bake it" in the microwave it if you prefer a "baked apple" topping.


Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the ingredients by hand until it makes pancake batter.

  2. Pour this mixture into a skillet coated with non-stick cooking spray (medium heat).

  3. Cook on one side until lightly browned.

  4. Flip with a spatula to cook the other side.

  5. How do you like them apples? Fast, easy and low in calories. Enjoy!
