So I don't know if I should count this as a PR or not. I got it off the ground, got it up, just let go earlier than I wanted to because my grip was giving out before I could lock it out.
I'm trying harder to push through my heels and checking my hips on the way up.
I also can't get a stable enough of a platform to do deficit deadlifts. The 45 plates in here do not sit flush on the floor on the back side. I have to get creative I suppose.
But anyway, a) would you count this as a PR? b) How's my overall form?

1) I would call it a half PR.. just needed that lock-out to be a full PR! Great effort though Jeff! Rack pulls will help with that top portion.
That's annoying about the plates.. what about the 25lb plates? Are they flush with the ground?
2) The form is OK.. you are guarenteed to have some form breakdown when you go for a PR. You do have some rounding of the back which isn't ideal, and I think doing more deficits might help with that, because they will teach you to sit lower in order to pull the weight off the ground. From looking at this clip, it looks like you could afford to sit a little more.
But it all takes time! Keep training hard man, you are doing great!
