Whey protein has many benefits and can certainly help you build muscle, but are you chosing the RIGHT kind of whey protein?  This video should clear things up!

Only training and recovery build muscle. Whey protein is good for recovery but it doesn't build anything by itself. It is a food of convenience - nothing more.

Very true, definitely a food on conveinence... but still.. there are several options to choose from and depending on whether or not you are lactose intolerant you might want to choose a specific kind! Or else pooping and farting all day! lol

But that has nothing to do with the question "Will whey protein build more muscle?" That answer is still: Without proper training and diet, no.. If I just took whey protein (or casein, or egg, or whey isolate or hydrosolate) when I weighed 350 and did nothing else, all I'd get is fatter.

Had no problem with the video just thought the title was a little "bait and switch".

I understand and yes it got me to click so nice work :)

Maybe I'm just being pedantic. I've also been lied to a lot on my journey and I have a hard time with it (not saying you've done that but I try to fix it if I think I see it).
