Probably after over 100 attempts at super battle road, I just finished my 20 victory milestone which in turn gives me the "Free to play" (Heavy exaggeration) LR Kid Gohan with a pretty interesting leader skill actually. The bottom line with Super battle road is, if you don't have some hidden potential investment in your leaders or at least your hardest hitting units on your team, you won't stand a chance, not to say it's impossible though.
The items you choose are CRUCIAL to your success. The items I recommend are, WHIS WHIS WHIS, Icarus, Android 8 (Not 18), Princess Snake. If you lack these items as I do now, feel free to replace them with King Yenma, Ghost Usher, Senzu Bean, Shamo, Bulma (Future) or anything else you want. I listed these items all in the order of most important to least.
A few tips:
When in super battle road, I recommend starting from the right enemy to the left as the enemies on the left end of the screen have the highest HP where as the right end have the lowest HP but they all hit pretty damn hard.
DOKKAN MODE SUPER IS KEY to SBR as you ideally want to save the Dokkan Mode which attacks ALL The enemies with massive damage and usually results in a 1 hit-ko on the board such as what LR Broly does in world tournament. Try to save your dokkan mode for the third round of enemies so you can sweep them in a turn and jump to the finals. Also, if you don't already know, you should use your Dokkan Mode Super on the strongest unit on your team.
When you jump in super battle road from the start, make sure to check out the map before you start. Some enemies aren't favorable for your team so you might want to jump out and jump back in again to get a new set of enemies that might be easier for you to finish. For example: When I did my Super type SBR rounds I only did the rounds where Bojack was not the final enemy and it was Majin Buu instead since Bojacks squad is much more annoying to handle that Majin Buu and Babidi.
