Due to severe problems in my feet I have to avoid any sort of cardio that includes like constant impact of my feet with the ground such as Running and boxing (my 2 favourite cardio forms which i have to give up :( ).
The doctor highly recommended cycling rather than swimming as swimming isnt as accessible and one may not tend to workout as hard in the pool. I know there are other alternatives such as air-walker and stairs machine but I tend to find the air-walker rather boring and i've never come across a stairs machine, and hence limiting my choice. Apart from that, i do some tabata but i like varying from time to time, as constantly sticking to the weights and all may get rather irritating and i'd love some sort of change (hence y i loved boxing and running).
So my question here is, is cycling a good and efficient form of cardio (especially if i avail of an interval training style) are there any hermanites that apply cycling in their cardio and prgoram regime? How does that person apply cycling, is it effective?
Thanks, look forward to hearing your comments :).
If anyone has an alternative please, id love to hear it.
