Yes. Vegetables contain carbs, and carbs contain calories. Whenever you consume a calorie, it counts. Fruit too - everything.

But i think green veggies are inactive carb so if u eat ton of veggies u wont put on weight

But they still provide you with energy and things like dietary fibre. Saying they're inactive so you won't put on any weight...that would mean you can eat as much greens as you want above your maintenance number, and not put on any weight??
