Hey People

As the title description says who do you think will win Mr Olympia 2014?

Predict the top 3 or 5

I think top 5 will be

1) Phil Heath (going to be very close between phil and kai)

2) Kai Greene

3) Dennis Wolf

4) Shawn Rhoden

5) Mamdouh Elssbiay aka Big Ramy

Veni Vidi Vici : I came, I saw, and I conquered. Started Lifting December 2012, almost 2 years of lifting experience. Age 19, Pursuing Computer Science engineering.

Yeah me too but it was very close, i dont know how phil won this time cause kai brought his best conditioning to date, pushing Phil Heath to the absolute edge. I would argue that Greene was actually the leanest competitor onstage and fans seemed to agree, as he won the Fan's Choice Award by a large margin where as Phil heath was very tight and brought great aesthetics as always, but for some reason his abs seemed less defined and almost bloated in some poses. He was very good, but not at his best ever. And rivalry between these two is growing stronger as you can see the little heated exchange that happened on stage.

I was a bit dissapointed cause i really thought kai would win this year but phil just won by very little margin although i predicted that phil won but i wanted kai to win this time, you could see the disappointment on the face of kai during the interview after results were declared, he looked emotional and physically drained, i hope he doesnt give up and train harder and wins next time.

With all due respect to Kai and Heath and recognizing the tremendous commitment and discipline required for them to achieve their physiques, I am just not a fan of the Olympia anymore. I miss the days of Arnold, Lee Labrada, Lee Haney, Rich Gaspari, and the guys from the 80's. From Dorain Yates on, the competition is more about freaky size than real aesthetics. Growth Hormone, Insulin, and IGF-1 have ruined the sport. These guys look bloated and too big in my opinion. I know they still train as hard and are as disciplined as the guys from the past but to me Arnold, Frank Zane, Lee Labrada, etc had better physiques in my opinion.

Yeah, i am also not a hardcore fan of these bodytypes, i liked the thin waistline of Arnold, Frank Zane and Sergio Olivia and their reign represented a shift of emphasis from mass to aesthetics, they were lean and their vaccum pose were incredible, near perfect symmetry. Many people will consider the physique of Frank, Arnold and Sergio over Phil, Ronnie and Kai for sure.
