I have never used the tape before my friend. I really don't see a need for it unless you are in criticle pain?
I mean, you bought it, try it out and see how you feel.
If you are really sore, you might benifit more from some good old foam rolling.

I used the tape and it stopped my anterior deltoid soreness; it is either a placebo or there's actually something into it that soothes muscle soreness. Anyway: thanks for reminding me about my foam roller. There are plethora of health products out there that you don't even know what to use.

I use K-tape on a lot of my clients but have never used it to prevent muscle soreness! I don't really see how it would prevent it either so I assume you got a placebo affect from it. I only use it for injury rehab and prevention.
@Daniel_Meyer what kind injuries are you referring to? In the vast majority of cases I am unsure if my soreness is a result of having DOMS or something worst. Yesterday, I actually felt like my clavicular head of the pectoralis major is torn after my chest and triceps workout, and using the KT Tape reduced the soreness significantly. I am no profesional with this stuff so al of this might be wrong.

Basically any injuries whereby load has to be reduced. This can be strains or sprains, joint loading problems etc. How did you apply the K tape?
